Tattoo Artist- Chris Oktavec

A proud New Hampshire native, Chris Oktavec spends his days designing, drawing and tattooing.  Even from a young age, Chris’s drawing always took precedence over other interests. In the eighth grade, his father had one of Chris’s drawings tattooed on his forearm, and when Chris saw it, he knew that he wanted his path to lead to a career in tattooing. 

Studio owner Leif Anderson has always felt grateful for his opportunity to begin a career in tattooing, and he finally saw an opportunity to pay it forward when he asked a friend about a tattoo he had on his leg, and was informed that it had been done by Chris Oktavec, a former apprentice who had left his prior mentorship and had all but given up on his lifelong dream of a career in tattooing. The linework on the tattoo was impeccable, and Leif immediately set about contacting Chris to set up an interview. After viewing Chris’s portfolio, and seeing first-hand Chris’s dedication to his craft and his clients, along with his fastidious attention to safety and good sanitation practices, Leif took Chris on as his first apprentice. After completing the requirements set forth by the State, and exceeding Leif’s expectations, he was fully licensed as a Body Artist in the State of NH on May 5th, 2021.
